This Google Meets-based (video conferencing) therapy group is for parents who have children who are neurodiverse. Neurodiversity includes those with traumatic brain injuries, autism, ADHD, and cerebral palsy. The intention of the therapy group is to teach parents skills in motivational interviewing. Motivational interviewing is a collaborative conversation style that offers a framework for strengthening a person’s own motivation and commitment to change and is another tool designed to help with resistance behavior.

The therapy group begins Friday, December 4 at 3pm and meets weekly for 6 weeks, with a break on December 25 and January 1, ending on January 22. Intake appointments can be scheduled starting October 30.
Insurance will be billed prior to the patient being responsible for the cost.
