Insurance and Billing

Insurance

We know that the billing side of insurance is overwhelming. Our goal is to partner with you to get the care you deserve, regardless of your insurance status.

We accept all types of insurance including Medicaid, Medicare, BadgerCare, Marketplace, and private or commercial insurance. We also offer a sliding fee scale for those who qualify. This program, which is based on your income, can help you even if you are underinsured.

To find out if you qualify, please set up an appointment with one of our Patient Financial Advocates. Click here to learn more about our Sliding Fee Scale.

We also have several certified application counselors that can assist you in insurance enrollment including Medicaid, Medicare, and the Marketplace.

Are you sure you don’t qualify for Medicaid? You might and we can help you find out.

Paying for healthcare is often time a barrier to your health. We are here to remove that barrier and get you on the road to a healthy life.

Billing

After an appointment, our billing department works to get you your bill quickly and is available to assist you with any questions.

If you are having trouble making a payment or understanding your bill, please give us a call and we will walk you through your invoice. If you need to set up an affordable payment plan, that is available. Paying your bill is important, but not as important as your health!

Good Faith Estimate

As of January 2022, patients who do not have insurance or who are not using insurance are entitled to receive an estimate for the cost of their upcoming appointment.

Referred to as a Good Faith Estimate, it will include the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, and equipment.

Patients will receive the Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day prior to the service or item, as long as it is scheduled at least 3-days out.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than the Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit: https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises/consumers  or call 1-800-985-3059.
