The recent funding from the Miller-Dwan Foundation has enabled the purchase and installation of three NuStep T5 Cross Trainer machines and three sets of Clinton One-Sided Staircases, each tailored to fit the specific space needs of the Solon Springs Clinic, Poplar Clinic and Iron River Clinic. These versatile pieces of equipment offer multiple therapeutic exercise options and accommodate NorthLakes patients with a wide range of rehabilitative needs. The equipment also supports various patient weights and can be easily accessed, which allows NorthLakes to serve those with limited mobility.
Along with helping to expand therapeutic offerings, the equipment purchased from the Miller-Dwan Foundation funds help provide patient-centered care within the constraints of NorthLakes Community Clinic’s facilities.
As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), NorthLakes is committed to serving everyone regardless of their ability to pay, with Medicaid acceptance and a Sliding Fee Scale available for under- or uninsured individuals up to 200% of the federal poverty level. Their efforts aim to ensure high-quality care is accessible to all, removing barriers to wellness for its communities.
