HRSA Administrator Engels tours NorthLakes
NorthLakes Community Clinic recently welcomed Tom Engels, Administrator of the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), for a tour of its Eau Claire clinic. Engels was joined by several other leaders from the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services, as well as the Wisconsin Primary Health Care Association.
The visit highlighted the important role Community Health Centers play in expanding access to care and responding to critical health needs in the communities they serve. During the visit, Engels shared his gratitude for how Community Health Centers continue to step up for patients and communities and joined NorthLakes leadership in discussions about current and future opportunities to support work around children’s health, chronic disease prevention and management, and alcohol and drug treatment.
NorthLakes was honored to host the visit and appreciates the opportunity to share more about its work to provide high-quality, affordable care across northern Wisconsin.
