Hurley, WI – NorthLakes Community Clinic – Hurley has added an additional behavioral health therapist to the team. Shannon Lutz, APSW, SAC-IT joined in November and will be seeing older children and adults.
Lutz comes to NorthLakes from Iron County Human Services & Associates, so she is familiar with Hurley and its needs. She received her Bachelor of Arts from Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Michigan and went on to Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan to earn her Master of Social Work.
“I strongly believe that I did not pick the social work field as it picked me. I enjoy the work, partnerships and strong ethical base”, said Lutz when asked about her career choice.
When she is not working Lutz enjoys hiking, fishing, spending time on the shores of Lake Superior or horseback riding. In the winter you can find her writing, reading and baking up her favorite dishes.
