Marinette, Wisconsin – Two Behavioral Health Therapists have joined NorthLakes Community Clinic – Marinette. With the addition of Hayley Nerat, MS, LPC, CSAC, and Jane Moker, MS, LPC, LLP, NorthLakes now provides virtual Behavioral Health services at this clinic.
Hayley Nerat began her healthcare career as a Licensed Practical Nurse and then turned her attention to Behavioral Health so that she could do talk therapy. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia, and her Licensed Practical Nursing Diploma from Ellsworth Community College in Iowa Falls, Iowa. When she decided to pursue a master’s to become a Behavioral Health Therapist, she earned her degree from Concordia University in Mequon, Wisconsin. Prior to joining NorthLakes, Hayley was a Clinical Therapist for Oconto County Health and Human Services. When she was asked about what she liked about her career she said, “I love seeing the progression of clients, how they improve over time through the talk therapy process.” Away from the clinic Hayley acts in community theater and enjoys martial arts, yoga, reading, jogging, and studying foreign languages.
Jane Moker earned a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Science from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Prior to joining NorthLakes Jane worked as a Mental Health Therapist at Marinette County Health and Human Services. When she was asked how she approaches her work with clients she said, “The client knows themselves way better than I do, so I allow them to lead me where they want their treatment to go. They are the ones in charge of their treatment and I’m never going to tell them what they should or should not do.” Jane especially enjoys working with people who have experienced trauma, but she has a great deal of experience working with all types of mental health issues. She also enjoys providing individual, family, and group therapy and wholeheartedly believes in the wraparound approach to treatment. When she is not in the clinic Jane enjoys a variety of things including cooking, boating, traveling, reading, camping, and music.
They are currently accepting new patients. The Marinette Clinic accepts Michigan and Wisconsin Medicaid, along with most commercial insurances. There is also a Sliding Fee Scale available for those who qualify. NorthLakes will be expanding the clinic in Marinette this fall and at that time Haley and Jane will be seeing patients virtually and in person.
