In an effort to fill care gaps and improve access for the underserved populations of Chippewa Valley, NorthLakes Community Clinic began offering services at a second Eau Claire location in May.
This expansion is in response to the closures recently announced by Prevea Health Center facilities in western Wisconsin and the Hospital Sisters Health System (HSHS) facilities – including St. Joseph’s and Sacred Heart hospitals.
Our Eau Claire – Clairemont Avenue Clinic offers the following services:

NorthLakes will continue to offer Pediatric Dentistry, along with General Dentistry, at our Hastings Way Clinic.
We are here for everyone and accept those with private insurance, Medicaid, or those with no insurance. For those who qualify, we also offer a Sliding Fee Scale that is based on family income and household size.
NorthLakes is actively recruiting providers and staff. Providers who choose to work at our community health centers may be eligible for loan repayment from the National Health Service Corp. Accessing Care After-Hours
If you are in an emergency, dial 9-1-1. If you have an issue after our regular hours, contact your local emergency room or urgent care provider. If you are a patient of NorthLakes and in the hospital, be sure to tell the staff that NorthLakes is your primary care provider so that we can provide the best continuity of care.
NorthLakes also offers an after-hours nurse line, 888.834.4551, for calls received after our clinics close.
