Let’s build community through giving.
“Events like this are a simple way for neighbors to come together and support organizations doing important work in our community,” said Erika Krzmarzick, clinic manager at the Rice Lake NorthLakes clinic. “The Boys & Girls Club does so much for local kiddos; and we’re excited to help bring attention and support to their efforts while giving people a chance to practice collective generosity and connect with each other.”
At NorthLakes, community connection is viewed as an important part of overall health and well-being. This belief actually inspired the Gather & Give initiative.
“Social connection is a genuine health need, and we want our clinics to be a place where community happens,” said Ana Tochterman, CEO of NorthLakes Community Clinic. “Gather & Give lets us bring people together around something meaningful — supporting the works of the local organizations that are doing good work right here at home.”
