NorthLakes Community Clinic has announced the winners of its annual White Lake Market Shopping Spree fundraiser. The event raised $845 through ticket sales, with proceeds benefiting the Farm to Patient Program and the New Program Endowment.
The winners, Colleen Nickolai and Pam Buettner, were announced at the White Lake Community Appreciation Event on August 20. Each received a $250 Grocery Shopping Spree at White Lake Market on August 23.
Funds from the event will support the Farm to Patient Program, which helps participants achieve wellness goals by providing direct access to healthy, locally grown food. Twice per month during the growing season, patients receive a fresh box of seasonal fruits and vegetables from a local community-supported agriculture (CSA) farm, delivered curbside by a Community Health Worker. In addition to delivery, staff provide nutrition education, recipe tips, safe storage guidance, and ongoing support to encourage healthy lifestyle choices.
Proceeds will also benefit the NorthLakes New Program Endowment, established with the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation. The endowment provides sustainable funding to create new programs that address Social Determinants of Health. These nonmedical factors—such as where people live, work, and age—significantly influence overall health, and the endowment helps ensure NorthLakes is prepared to respond to these needs both now and in the future.
