Tamilyn is one of our LGBTQ+ Informed Providers. Her professional interests include working with LGBTQ+ children, youth, adults, and families. Tamilyn is a member of our Chronic Pain Case Management Treatment Team, providing psychotherapy and Pain Neuroscience Education to clients seeking to manage pain through self-awareness. As a member of the area collaborative Pain Rehabilitation Team (NorthLakes, Essentia Health-Hayward, and Hayward Area Memorial Hospital), Tamilyn facilitates 3 Pain Treatments Exploration groups annually. Tamilyn also works with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma reactivity, interpersonal communication, and other challenges to well-being and life enjoyment.
When Tamilyn is not at work, she enjoys spending her time outside, bicycling, and working on rehabilitating older “rescue bikes.” She also relaxes by hanging out with her family, traveling, reading, doing yoga, and creating art. Lake Superior is her favorite place to completely recharge.
As a therapist, I don’t give advice. My role is to support each client through the process of finding their voice and determining their own direction.
