Master of Social Work, St. Mary's University-Minnesota, Winona, MN
Michelle is dedicated to supporting others as they uncover the power and strength of the human spirit. She finds inspiration and motivation in seeing others achieve their goals and recognize their own capabilities. Michelle's passion is working with children, adolescents, and families from a strengths-based perspective to provide empowerment, support, and dignity to those who feel the weight of life's challenges.
Her therapeutic frameworks include humanistic, family systems, and cognitive behavioral therapy, and through integration she provides strong therapeutic alliance, context to behaviors especially with children, and support with symptom relief. Michelle believes that as a therapist, she should also be a good teacher and coach.
Michelle and her family love baseball and basketball, nature and wildlife photography, crafts, reading, road trips, camping, and outdoor fun. She enjoys learning new things such as woodburning, painting, and drawing.
You are courageous for being here and you are not alone. Solutions become clear when our spirit is calm and quiet. Let's build that together for you.
