Kari treats a wide variety of diagnoses, including: developmental delay, Autism spectrum disorder, picky eaters and problem feeders, infant feeding, pediatric trauma and adverse childhood experiences, social emotional delays, neuromuscular disorders, genetic disorders, emotional regulation challenges, sensory processing disorders, handwriting and school skill challenges, self-care delays, social skill delays, and more. She chose her career path because she loves the blend of science, psychology, and compassion that makes up the profession of Occupational Therapy! She chose to focus on Pediatric Therapy because she gets to build meaningful and impactful relationships with children and their families. She gets to help empower and support children and their families in achieving success in their everyday living tasks through play, practical problem solving, and education.
Kari likes spending time outdoors: skiing, boating, gardening, and so many more. She also enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. She is always up to trying something new or visiting new places!
I am so happy you are here! My goal is to ensure you are comfortable at your visits. Be honest about what therapy goals and milestones are important to you - and together we will work toward those goals, making sure it is the just right amount of challenge, while having fun along the way!
