Dana has been honored to serve families and communities as a birthworker for over 20 years. She has worked as a birth doula, postpartum doula, childbirth educator, lactation consultant, licensed midwife, and now, a community health worker. She is deeply committed to creating safe and supportive environments that are accessible to all communities. Dana believes in the power of whole-person centered care and feels that individuals are best equipped to guide their own healing journey.
Dana finds joy in spending time with her family, especially if they are in the woods exploring. She loves fishing, hunting and gardening. In her spare time, you can find Dana networking with her community, taking ridiculously long walks with her energetic border collies, knitting, and reading.
Every single human on this Earth comes with their own stories, challenges, and joys. Finding touch points of empathy and care among one another can be one of our greatest gifts. I would encourage you to acknowledge and celebrate the gifts that you bring, as well as the hardships that you hold. These are what make us whole and are an important part of our story. You are enough, and your whole self deserves to be heard and treated with respect!
