Anne Marie believes clients should be at the center of their treatment, tailored to their wants and needs, and a client should be part of creating that treatment plan. Anne Marie believes a client should never be asked to do something they are not comfortable doing. She see ages patients 14 and older.
As Anne Marie gets to know a client, there may be opportunities for other entities in the clinic to help the client with other areas of their life. She always keeps her focus on the wants and needs of clients and is ready to assist them in finding other resources within the clinic and community to help them reach their maximum potential.
Anne Marie enjoys riding her Harley from March through November, which is one of her favorite hobbies. She also enjoys hiking, snowshoeing, skiing, swimming, and spending time with standard poodles.
I would tell patients to relax and take some deep breaths when they come to therapy. Sometimes the work is hard, but the rewards are great. I want you to know that I will never ask you to do something you are not comfortable doing. I will also ask you to let me know if you feel the approach I am taking isn't working, so we can try a different approach. Communication between the therapist and client is crucial, and what you put into the process is what you will get out of the process. If you work hard and communicate with me, the result will be good.
