Hurley, WI – NorthLakes Community Clinic has expanded their clinic in Hurley and added medical services, joining the other services, including dental, chiropractic, behavioral health and health & wellness supports. NorthLakes is a community health center, part of a national program that began during the war on poverty during the Johnson Administration, to offer healthcare to people who are not able to access it easily due to barriers such as finances and distance. NorthLakes vision is: Healthy, prosperous, engaged communities where everyone thrives.
The remodel at 115 5th Ave North in Hurley, WI was a 6,000 square foot expansion done to make space for the medical services that are now available for the people of Hurley and the surrounding community. In partnership with NASI Construction, located at 700 Granite Street in Hurley, WI, a portion of the beverage warehouse was developed into a fully functional medical space that includes 2 exam rooms and an area for lab work to be performed. This expansion is a testimony to the partnerships that NorthLakes Community Clinic has to its rural communities and local businesses.
