Mark enjoys caring for people all ages and walks of life, but his background includes directing a fellowship in maternal/child health, so he's particularly interested in women's health, including prenatal care, and in caring for newborns, babies, children, and teenagers.
Outside of work, Mark loves spending time with his wife, Jennifer, his son, Nathaniel, and his very small dog, Thor. He enjoys outdoor activities (hiking, kayaking, and cross-country skiing), and for vacation, loves traveling and exploring other cultures.
I really like patients to bring a list of what they want to address with me, so we don't miss anything important. It's also great if we have information about your medical background, your family's health history and any medications you're taking. Just bring your medicines with you. I also advise people to give some thought to what you want in a doctor, and what kind of therapeutic relationship you want with your provider, so you know if I might be a good fit for you.
