Park Falls, Wisconsin – NorthLakes Community Clinic – Park Falls is pleased to announce that Laurie Buesing has joined the clinic to provide behavioral health services to people of all ages. Buesing is a Licensed Professional Counselor as well as a Certified State of Wisconsin Social Worker.
When asked about her professional interests, Buesing shared, “I have a variety of clinical experience at different levels of care and working with ages 4 years old and up. I enjoy Child, Adolescent and Family Therapy, Trauma Informed Care, use of play therapy and expressive art interventions, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy skills training, and person centered treatment.”
Buesing earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Carroll College in Waukesha, Wisconsin, and her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from UW-Stout in Menominee, Wisconsin with dual emphasis in Child/Adolescent Counseling and Substance Abuse.
Prior to joining the NorthLakes team Buesing has had a variety of experience providing behavioral health services including child/adolescent day treatment, in-home therapy, within correctional facilities and police social work.
In her free time Laurie enjoys laughing, spending time outdoors and playing with her dogs.
