Professional Interests:
I am an LGBTQ+ informed provider. My professional interests include pain neuroscience education and working with LGBTQIA+ individuals, couples, and families. I have been a driving force in NorthLakes earning and maintaining Healthcare Equality Index Leaders status since 2015. I also provide psychotherapy and pain neuroscience education to clients seeking to manage pain through self-awareness and lifestyle medicine. I also work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma reactivity, interpersonal struggles, and other challenges to well-being and life enjoyment.
Personal Interests:
When Tamilyn is not at work, she enjoys spending her time outside, gardening, hiking, bicycling, and rehabilitating older “rescue bikes.” She also relaxes by hanging out with her family, traveling, reading, doing yoga, and creating art. Lake Superior is her favorite place to completely recharge.

As a therapist, I don’t give advice. My role is to support each client through the process of finding their voice and determining their own direction.
