Melissa sees therapy as a space where you don't have to have everything figured out. Her approach is relaxed, collaborative, and centered on what clients need, not a rigid formula. She believes people already have strengths and insight within them, even when life feels overwhelming or things feel stuck. Serving clients ages 12 and older, Melissa focuses on helping clients better understand themselves, build practical coping skills, and develop more self-compassion along the way. She aims to meet clients where they're at, move at a pace that feels comfortable, and create a space where they feel safe being honest, curious, and fully themselves.
Outside of work, Melissa loves traveling and exploring different parts of the world. Experiencing new cultures and places helps her stay curious and grounded. She also enjoys spending time in nature, creating cozy spaces at home, and finding simple, calming ways to recharge. She values good conversations, humor, small routines that help life feel more balanced and intentional, and finding magic in the mundane.
Be gentle with yourself. Healing and growth aren't linear, and you don't need to have all the answers to get started. Showing up, taking small steps, and being honest with yourself matter more than doing things "perfectly." Therapy is a place where you're allowed to be human.
