Master of Social Work, Capella University
Jill sees patients five and up, and likes to approach clients in a holistic way. She is present to be their partner in working through whatever brings them to see her. The client is the driver of therapy, and she will be there to support, encourage, and give them the tools to find success. Jill utilizes tools such as CBT, DBT, solutions focused, client centered, as well as motivational interviewing to name a few. She looks forward to meeting new clients and helping them reach their goals.
Jill's interests can vary depending on the season. She enjoys working in her garden and her small hobby farm as well as sitting with a good cup of coffee by the fire and her most recent crochet project. Mostly, she enjoys spending time with her family and the wide array of pets they have.
The advice I would give to potential patients is to keep an open mind. I have also found that, as with many things, you get what you put into it. Don't be afraid to take that first step!
