Chelsea's approach to therapy is rooted in the belief that every person deserves to be met with dignity and respect. Everyone is just human trying to do their best in this world, and Chelsea meets clients with compassion and empathy. Clients are the experts of their own lives, and she serves as a partner in their healing. Together, they explore what clients need and what healing looks like for them. Chelsea understands how scary it can be to be vulnerable with someone new and considers it the greatest honor to share a space with clients as they share their stories.
Chelsea is especially passionate about supporting adolescents 13+ and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, addictions, life transitions (including postpartum and new parenthood, divorce, separation, and breakups, as well as career or identity changes), relational conflicts, self-esteem, confidence, stress, and emotional regulation.
Chelsea uses a blend of motivational interviewing, solution-focused strategies, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy to help clients understand patterns, build skills, develop efficient coping strategies, and create meaningful change. Therapy with Chelsea is collaborative and rooted in the belief that people grow when they establish safety with their therapist. The work moves at the client's pace, one step at a time, together.
Outside of work, Chelsea enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, journaling, traveling, attending concerts, and spending time on the water. She also stays active through weightlifting, playing sand league volleyball, and walking or running.
Give yourself credit for taking the first and often hardest step—walking through the door. I'm SO proud of you. My hope is that you see our sessions as an opportunity for growth, where I can be a teammate in supporting your goals and helping you work through life's challenges.
There is no judgment here; I'm here to help you understand yourself better, explore your own answers and make the decisions that feel aligned for you. My advice is to take a deep breath, trust the process, and allow yourself to move one baby step at a time. Be proud of yourself—we're in this together!
