I began my career working with patients across the lifespan, but transitioned solely to pediatrics about 10 years ago and have never looked back. I am specially trained to improve the lives and daily function of children with a wide array of diagnoses to include: developmental delay, neuromuscular disorders, genetic disorders, plagiocephaly/torticollis, orthopedic injuries, post surgical, traumatic brain injuries, coordination disorders to name a few. In addition, I provide aquatic therapy at our community pool when appropriate. I also help patients get the equipment they need to maximize their functional potential whether that be a stander, a walker, a gait trainer, orthotics, a wheelchair, etc. During the school year, a significant portion of my time is spent providing school-based physical therapy for our community.
I love anything outdoors and in all seasons - hiking, fishing, canoeing, camping, cross country skiing, snowshoeing to name a few. I also enjoying spending time with my family and being active in the community. I am an assistant coach for my daughters' travel/recreational basketball and soccer teams, as well as a Girl Scout Leader.
Never give up on your dreams, remember the little things, never compare yourself to others, and you can do hard things.
