Eau Claire, Wisconsin – NorthLakes Community Clinic has opened its second Eau Claire location, located at 1002 West Clairemont Avenue. Their doors are now open to all patients, with a focus on people who are under-insured, as well as those who are covered by Medicaid.
The new clinic offers a spectrum of counseling services, such as Behavioral Health and Recovery counseling, to provide vital mental health care to the Chippewa Valley region. Moreover, area patients can speak with a Community Health Worker to address any concerns about social determinants of health, such as housing, employment, transportation, insurance, etc.; patient questions and problems are met with resources and actionable next steps.
Next month, in June 2024, their Clairemont Avenue service line will also incorporate primary Medical and outpatient Recovery – including individual and group therapy and Medication-Assisted Treatment.
Enthusiastic about the expansion, NorthLakes CEO Reba Rice stated, “We believe that healthcare should be accessible to everyone, no matter what. NorthLakes Community Clinic works hard to make sure our services are affordable and available to all. We’re excited to get these new offerings added for our Eau Claire community.”
NorthLakes will continue to provide Pediatric Dentistry, along with General Dentistry, at their Hastings Way Clinic.
As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), NorthLakes exists to fill care gaps and improve access for underserved populations. The organization provides care to individuals with or without insurance, and also offers a Sliding Fee Scale for patients who qualify. Get more information at nlccwi.org.
