NorthLakes Community Clinic is pleased to announce that Naomi Adams, LCSW, a distinguished mental health professional with over a decade of clinical experience, has joined the behavioral health team in Oconto.
With a master’s degree in clinical social work from the University of St. Thomas and St. Catherine and specialized training in Attachment Therapy and Early Childhood Trauma, Naomi brings exceptional expertise to NorthLakes. Previously serving as director of clinical services at Willow Creek Behavioral Health, she has established herself as a leader in trauma-informed care and social-emotional well-being.
“I’m thrilled to join the dedicated team at NorthLakes Community Clinic and look forward to serving the Oconto community,” said Naomi. “My approach integrates evidence-based practices with a focus on the whole person —mind, body, and spirit — to create a safe, engaging environment where clients can address barriers to their mental health journey.”
Naomi’s impressive background includes certification in Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Transdisciplinary Play-Based Therapy, and Crisis Prevention Intervention. As a Safe Ally trained to support the LGBTQIA2S+ community, she is committed to inclusive care for all populations.
At NorthLakes Community Clinic – Oconto, Naomi will specialize in cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavior therapy, substance abuse treatment, depression, anxiety, grief counseling, play-based therapy, trauma recovery, mindfulness practices, attachment issues, and mood disorders.
