Two new healthcare professionals will better serve our northeastern Wisconsin communities. Amber Harmala, APSW, joins as a behavioral health therapist in Marinette, while Jonathan Koby, DDS, begins serving patients as a dentist in both Marinette and Oconto.
Amber brings diverse experience in mental health and social services, including crisis response, case management, and both inpatient and outpatient therapy settings. She holds a Master of Social Work in clinical mental health and a Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University of Wisconsin — Green Bay. Amber will provide individualized care to clients ages seven and up, utilizing a holistic, client-driven approach.
“It’s important for me to look at the client as a whole, including their environment and social system,” Amber explains. “I believe in providing care without judgment. We will work together as a team at a pace that’s comfortable for you.”
Jonathan recently graduated from Marquette University School of Dentistry and brings a passion for restorative dentistry and patient-centered care. Proficient in Spanish, he is dedicated to creating a welcoming environment for all patients, especially those who may have experienced dental anxiety.
“My philosophy of care is to understand each patient’s unique story and start treatment from their current needs,” Jonathan explains. “Consistency is key — by improving just one percent every day, patients can achieve lasting oral health and overall well-being.”
