The 100 Who Care chapters, founded and hosted by NorthLakes Community Clinic, are modeled after the national 100 Who Care Alliance movement. This initiative is built on a simple yet powerful giving circle concept.
Join members who pool their resources, learn about local community needs, and collectively decide where to direct their donations. Through this model, we support neighboring nonprofits that work to remove barriers to well-being and strengthen our community.
How It Works
Join a chapter and agree to contribute $100 three times per year. Then, select your top nominee in three categories.
- Art / History / Literacy / Museums (April)
- Environment / Animals / Garden / Recreation (July)
- Social Services (September)
Nominating Process
Each chapter meets three times a year: April, July, and September. The top three organizations per category will present for five minutes, followed by a Q&A. At the meeting, members vote, and the majority of votes determines the chosen organization.

The FINALIST Fund
At every event, incredible nonprofits pour their hearts into presentations, but only one takes home the $10,000. We think everyone deserves to go home with a prize.
That’s why NorthLakes is launching the FINALIST Fund—a voluntary member pot. Our goal is to raise $9,000 per year, so each finalist receives $1,500.
Want to chip in?
- Add $100 to your annual membership (total: $400/year)
- Become a “Friend of the Finalist Fund” with $1,000+
NorthLakes volunteers our time to make this magic happen, but if you’d like to help us cover food, venue, or printing costs, we’d love to hear from you.
