Lakewood, Wisconsin – NorthLakes Community Clinic is proud to welcome Christi Fowler, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), to its team of dedicated Behavioral Health Therapists. She provides counseling for patients at the Lakewood Clinic – both in-person and virtually.
With a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University Online, Fowler is also a National Certified Counselor with a deep interest in neuroplasticity, the ability to rewire the brain and develop new coping strategies.
Not only does she bring extensive knowledge and expertise to the position, but her personal experiences also connect her to this field of care. Reflecting on why she chose to pursue a career in mental health, Fowler said, “I have personally experienced the power of someone meeting me where I was at – without judgment. Through counseling, I was able to find hope for the future. I would like to provide that same support for those who are hurting.”
The counseling she provides is rooted in the attempt to meet individuals where they are and help them reach their mental health goals. Through a versatile approach to care, Fowler develops treatment plans specific to the needs of each patient.
The Behavioral Health team at NorthLakes understands the importance of creating a confidential atmosphere that promotes healing, problem-solving and personal growth for patients of all ages – including seniors and children.
