Taylor knew from a young age that she wanted to work with kids in some capacity. Through experiences, she was able to see pediatrics from a healthcare perspective and became very interested in pediatric rehabilitation teams. Getting more opportunities to observe in the various disciplines, she was able to find her fit in Occupational Therapy.
Taylor really enjoys getting to experience new places through traveling and camping, and just spending time with her family and friends.
My advice to patients and their families is to have a general idea of what Pediatric Occupational Therapy is and what brings you in, as well as to come in with some questions, concerns and goal areas, so that we can work together to develop a plan.
