Federally Qualified Health Centers have advocates across all political parties and halls of government.
It’s an easy thing to get behind. One of our responsibilities as a health center is to stay in touch with those who represent us in government. Policies and plans can and do affect people’s health, so when we need to share information that can influence and advocate for our communities and patients, we have mechanisms in place to do just that.
Because much of our funding comes from different government organizations, we like to keep our government officials informed about our activities and what needs our patients may have.
