As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), we are governed by a patient-majority board of directors that oversees our activities, mission, strategy, and goals.
Board Requirements
To ensure we remain responsive to our community’s needs, our board must:
- Have between 9 to 25 members.
- Include residents representing our service area.
- Maintain at least 51% patient representation.
- Limit non-patient members from the healthcare industry to less than 50%.

When our board needs to add members, they are generally elected at our annual meeting in May. However, if the timing is not right, or if we have an immediate vacancy we need to fill, we appoint board members as needed.
