Certified Peer Specialist- this is a State of Wisconsin certification that honors lived experience of people in recovery as the “credentials” for offering support to others.

Bachelor of Arts - University of Chicago
Professional Interests:
Monarda’s professional interests are related to their lived experiences of trauma and recovery. Monarda works with people who are survivors of trauma, experience mental, emotional, physical disabilities and those who use substances to moderate stress and pain.
Personal Interests:
When I’m not working in the clinic, I spend most of my time working growing food and medicine and with my children.
